Consideraciones (remarks)

• Most Spanish letters are similarly pronounced as in English. But Spanish vowels are by rule short and crisp:
A as in America
E as in egg
I as in image
O as in opera
U as in book

• Ñ is a letter in its own right (separate from n) and sounds like the "ni" in the English word onion, and is also similar to the French word cognac.
